Jay Crosby, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice in New York and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine.  He has graduate degrees from the University of Chicago and the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies, Adelphi University, and received postdoctoral training at Weill Cornell Medical College and Columbia University.  Dr. Crosby has previously worked as a psychologist in the public hospital system in New York where he directed a specialty first episode psychosis program and continues to teach trainees.  He is a candidate in adult psychoanalysis at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research and a Rita Frankiel Memorial Fellow of the Melanie Klein Trust.
